Loved up in Byron Bay

There are many reasons why people to travel the Boho idyllic location of Byron Bay. I often get many requests for couple shoots that take in the magical scenery of the place. Here is a recent shoot with the lovely couple Madeline and Fletcher. We started at Wategos Beach and walked to the Lighthouse and then completed the shoot at sunset back at the beach. Blissful!

Ash and Ben Newcastle Wedding

Ash and Ben got married in their hometown of Newcastle.

They must have had a word to the weather gods because they scored the most stunning day one could imagine. Blue bird all day long!

Ash got ready at her parents house surrounded by her family, best friend and adorable pet dogs! (Scroll down to check out their little portraits).

By the time Ash was finished getting ready she looked like a freaking movie star! GORGEOUS!!!

The heartfelt ceremony was held above the city at the Obelisk . Our location shoot took us to King Edward Park and Merewether Ocean Baths,  before it was onto the delightful  48 Watt street  to celebrate the merry union.

Ash and Ben I  believe you guys are blessed. What an amazing wedding! It was honour to be a part of it.

Best wishes for the future xxx

Mel and Buddy Nimbin Wedding

Mel and Buddy

11.11.17

When Mel and Buddy met they didn’t muck around. They knew this was it. They had found each other.

As you scroll through these photos you will notice that these two do not take their eyes of each other.

They celebrated their wedding with friends and family on an amazing family property in the beautiful valley of Nimbin, exchanging their vows under a timber teepee with the meditative sounds of the creeks trickle in the background.

Whilst rain had been ominous most the day it cleared long enough for most of the ceremony and all of our photos!

A little rain was not going to get in the way of this wedding,  guests enjoyed themselves dancing under the marquee until the sun rose again the next day!.

Mel and Buddy, Big Love!  I wish you guys all the best with your future together. A future i am sure will be just as magic as your wedding day xx

Capturing real smiles

Its no secret that the beach is my favourite place to photograph children, it will always produce authentic smiles which is the magic i am seeking for fun loving times and everlasting imagery.

This was the case when photographing the adorable princesses Meikayla (6 yrs), Miranda (4 yrs) and Gabriella (17mnth)

We met early when the air was crisp and the water was still and clear and began at the silence of North Avoca lagoon. We then followed the sun and made our way down to the beach for some twirling and salty sea seeking. The girls ran free and wild in their beautiful dresses and inevitably the calling of the ocean beckoned them and in they went and played to their hearts content.

Children’s portrait funfest

I had so much fun capturing the wild play of Archie, Hallie and Lulu. Mum let them play to their hearts content which made for a total funfest!!!. We headed to a few locations in their home town of Copacabana. Our shoot ended with wet clothes and sandy smiling faces….
